Correct Your Dietary Imbalance With Natural Cancer Fighting Foods!

If you have ever wondered why people in some parts of the world seem to live much longer than others, it is not as big a mystery as you might seem to think. While our advanced world brings with it all sorts of conveniences that would have made lives easier for our ancestors, there is a bit of a tradeoff.  We have become lazy and developed some poor habits where our health is concerned.

The National Cancer Institute attributes 30-50% of all cancers to dietary imbalance. With cancer fighting foods available in abundance; the only way you can evade cancer is by not evading responsibility for what you eat.

Fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, potatoes and eggs have been acknowledged to have significant amount of health benefits since antiquity.

These cancer fighting foods boost the health of your immune system, strengthening the body and making it capable of fighting cancer and other diseases. I must add that these foods not only prevent cancer in people with and without a family history, but also make a big difference for people battling the disease.

We all know that it is not always possible to avoid disease, but it is certainly in our hands to try and reduce the risk of disease. It just takes a little common sense to understand what the cancer fighting foods are and sort out what is good to eat.

Avoid Like Plague

Excessive alcohol, red meat, preserved meat, high salt and sugar intake, fried foods, full-fat dairy products and processed foods are the order of the day. They cause a deficiency of vitamins and minerals in the body.

The terrible fact is that a great number of individuals do not consume nutritious food.

Your body craves for clean low-fat, high-fiber and lightly cooked food that is fresh and unaltered.

Processed food is direct POISON for the body. This is where the threat of cancer starts. Processing robs the food of all nutrients and the lack of nutrients sends wrong signals indicating that the body isn’t yet nourished properly, so you end up eating more. This results in the human body transforming into a doughnut. If you don’t want that to happen, satisfy your body’s cravings.

Fructose, Necessary But Lethal

Earlier, humans consumed anywhere between 16-20 grams of fructose per day from fresh fruits, but with the changing diets, the consumption levels have gone up to 85-100 grams per day. The liver can’t handle such large quantities of fructose, and this elevates insulin levels.

While insulin is essential for the body, elevated levels are dangerous. Your immune system suffers from excessive sugar intake. This leaves the doors open for cancer cells to multiply.

Research shows that consumption of over 25 grams of sugar leads to chronic degenerative diseases, especially cancer. For example, an apple and a banana contain more than 15 grams of sugar. This should give you an indication of the excessive sugar consumption you resort to per day.

Cut Out All Sugar Today

There is a very simple solution to this problem: cut out all sources of sugar, including fruit juices, sweetened drinks and processed foods. In fact, I always suggest my clients to clear the kitchen of all unnatural sugars, including artificial sweeteners.

I know your mind may already be working on switching to cane sugar, honey or other sugars; don’t encourage it. The sugar content in fresh fruits and other natural cancer fighting foods is more than sufficient for the human body.

The very food that we eat to stay alive is killing us!

We are learning with greater certainty that the body is an interconnected whole. In no case is this truer than in the business of what is good for us and what we eat. Negligence towards diet and nutrition is leading to a multitude of problems, like heart disease and cancer; all of which significantly shorten your lifespan.
